If you're shopping for a new RAV4 in the Philadelphia area, you're in the right place. Sloane Toyota is located at 1546 Cottman Avenue in Northeast Philly, and we stock one of the largest RAV4 inventories in the region. Whether you're commuting into Center City, hauling the family to the Shore, or just need a reliable car that handles both city streets and the highway, the RAV4 is built for exactly that.

The 2026 RAV4: Now Hybrid Only

Here's the big news for 2026: Toyota made the RAV4 hybrid-only. Every new RAV4 now comes with a gas-electric powertrain. No separate hybrid trim to shop for. No extra cost to "upgrade" to hybrid. It's just the RAV4.

That's a smart move for Philly drivers. Stop-and-go on I-76, crawling through South Street, idling at the bridge tolls -- hybrid technology does its best work in exactly that kind of driving. You can get up to 47 MPG in the city and 40 on the highway. For most people in the metro area, those numbers will hold up well.

The RAV4 starts at $31,900 MSRP. For a vehicle that gets near-40 combined fuel economy, hauls 37.8 cubic feet of cargo behind the rear seats, and tows up to 3,500 pounds, that's solid value.

2026 RAV4 Trim Levels and Prices

There are six trims to choose from. Here's a quick rundown:

LE -- $31,900

The base trim comes better equipped than you'd expect. You get a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 10.5-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 as standard features. That's not stripped-down. That's genuinely well-equipped for the price.

SE -- $34,700

The SE adds some sport styling. Think 18-inch black alloy wheels, piano black body cladding, and blue interior stitching. It looks sharper at the curb. If you want a RAV4 with a little more edge without jumping to the XSE, this is the sweet spot.

XLE Premium -- $36,100

This is where a lot of buyers land. The XLE Premium adds heated front seats, SofTex-trimmed seats, and front and rear parking assist with automatic braking. The height-adjustable power liftgate is useful when your hands are full of groceries or gear bags.

Woodland -- $39,900

The Woodland is for people who actually use their SUV off-road or just want it trail-ready. It has all-terrain tires, raised roof rails with crossbars, and integrated Rigid Industries LED fog lights. It also gets a slightly lower fuel economy rating (41/35 MPG) because of the bigger tires. Worth it if you spend time in the Pocono area or want true AWD confidence off the pavement.

XSE -- $41,300

The sporty one. The XSE gets 20-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, and steps up to the larger 12.9-inch touchscreen. The ventilated seats matter in a Philadelphia summer. If you park outside and deal with August heat, this is worth considering.

Limited -- $43,300

The fully loaded option. The Limited comes with a panoramic sunroof, JBL premium audio with 9 speakers, and dual wireless charging pads. If you spend a lot of time in the car and want the premium experience, this is the one.

What's Standard on Every 2026 RAV4

Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 comes on every single RAV4. That includes pre-collision braking, radar cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automatic high beams. These features used to cost extra. Now they're just part of the deal.

Every RAV4 also gets dual-beam projector LED headlights, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and wireless phone connectivity. AWD is available across the lineup. The LE is front-wheel drive standard, but AWD is an option -- and on the higher trims, it comes standard.

Frequently Asked Questions About the 2026 Toyota RAV4

Is the 2026 RAV4 still available as a non-hybrid?

No. Toyota made the RAV4 hybrid-only starting with the 2026 model year. Every new RAV4 now uses a hybrid powertrain. If you want a non-hybrid RAV4, you'd need to look at a 2025 model.

What's the difference between the RAV4 and the RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid?

The RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) is a separate model with a larger battery that can be charged from an outlet. It offers more electric-only range for shorter trips. The standard RAV4 hybrid does not plug in -- it recharges through regenerative braking and the gas engine. Both are good choices. The PHEV costs more up front but can cut fuel costs significantly if you do a lot of short local driving.

Does the RAV4 have all-wheel drive?

AWD is available on the LE and standard on most other trims. The Woodland edition has a more capable AWD system with torque vectoring. If you want AWD on the base LE, you can add it as an option.

How much cargo space does the RAV4 have?

Up to 37.8 cubic feet with the rear seats up. Fold the rear seats down and you get significantly more. It's one of the roomier compact SUVs in its class.

What is Toyota Safety Sense 4.0?

It's Toyota's advanced driver assistance suite. It includes pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, radar-based adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, and automatic high beams. It comes standard on every 2026 RAV4, including the base LE.

How long does it take to get a RAV4 at Sloane Toyota?
