Our Story

Philadelphia’s Toyota Dealer

No other new Toyota dealership calls the City of Brotherly Love home.

City drivers can shop for a new Toyota, or choose from a wide selection of pre-owned vehicles, without leaving Philadelphia.

The store has served the city for nearly 20 years. It is part of Sloane Automotive Group, which Robert Sloane founded more than 50 years ago with Sloane Chevrolet in Northeast Philadelphia and Sloane Toyota in Glenside. The Sloane family still owns and runs the group, and a new generation is now active in the business. Today the group operates nine stores across the region, including Sloane Toyota of Glenside and Sloane Toyota of Malvern.

We handle every stage of Toyota ownership here, from choosing a vehicle to financing, maintenance and repair. Many of our employees have been with us for years, so returning customers often see familiar faces who know them and their car.

Robert Sloane founds Sloane Automotive Group with Sloane Chevrolet in Northeast Philadelphia and Sloane Toyota in Glenside.

Sloane Toyota of Philadelphia opens in Northeast Philadelphia.

How We Give Back

Sloane Toyota of Philadelphia, as part of Sloane Automotive Group, supports local children, families and the troops who serve our country.

Make a Difference Children’s Foundation
This Bucks County nonprofit grew out of a classroom program at Jamison Elementary School and works to bring relief to children living in poverty. We help provide summer resources, clothing, shoes and school supplies for local children experiencing homelessness.
Driving Away the Cold
Each fall, we take part in this Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation program, which gives brand-new winter coats to children in need across the Philadelphia region. Since 2008, it has given away more than 700,000 coats.
Freedom Steps
We sponsor this Willow Grove nonprofit, which has sent care packages to deployed troops for more than 15 years. Its annual 5K helps pay for the supplies and shipping.
Hatboro Horsham Hawks
We sponsor the flag football program of this Horsham Township nonprofit, which has offered youth football and cheer since the 1960s.
