Toyota's New 2019 Avalon is Seriously Smart

Tech-savviness is second--or even first--nature for the all-new, fully redesigned 2019 Toyota Avalon.

While its striking new exterior is as eye-catching as it is aerodynamic, and attractive as it is aggressive, the most exciting changes for drivers in Philadelphia, Trevose, and Center City may come not from the outside, or under the hood--but inside the cabin.

New tech features put the 2019 Avalon a step ahead of its premium sedan competitors.

Toyota Remote Connect Features

Remote Connect in an available app feature that helps you stay connected to your new Toyota no matter where you travel outside of Northeast Philly. This relatively simple app lets you control and perform key functions and information, right from your smartphone.

  • Start the engine and even set climate controls
  • Lock and unlock doors
  • Locate your vehicle to find where you parked
  • Check if you left any windows, doors, or the trunk open
  • Check your fuel levels remotely
  • Keep tabs on your vehicle when someone else is behind the wheel--monitor speed, mileage driven, and even how far they travel

New Apple CarPlay Integration with Entune

New for the 2019 Avalon, and new for the Toyota lineup overall, is the addition of Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. This move seems like no big deal, but as the very first Toyota to offer this system, it shows that Toyota is really listening to what the people of Langhorne and the greater Philly area are looking for.

Android Auto doesn't appear to be available just yet, but it's very likely that we'll see it by the 2020 or 2021 model.
